A Cinci radio station has taken on the call letters WKRP …

WKRP in Cincinatti has to be one of the great sitcoms of all time.  I’ve seen the complete series in syndication several times … What characters!  Les Nessman, Venus Flytrap, Dr. Johnny Fever, Herb Tarlek, Bailey Quarters, and let us not forget, the immortal Arthur “A.C.” Carlson aka, “The Big Guy” (played by the late, great, Gordon Jump.)

Yeah, it’s appropriate that this story comes up around Thanksgiving, bringing to mind that classic WKRP “Turkey Episode” where A.C. issued forth with the most unforgettable line of the series, “As God is my witness, I thought Turkeys could fly …”

I wonder if DJs on the new station will be able to say “Booger”.
